On 19 August, co-founders Timothy Ericsson and Đức Nhật joined InnoEx 2026 at Thiskyhall Sala in Ho Chi Minh City. We went with a clear commercial goal: meet Western companies exploring or expanding in Vietnam, understand the questions behind their plans, and explain how dependable local fieldwork can turn uncertainty into evidence.

A room built for new conversations

InnoEx 2026 was held on 19 and 20 August under the theme “The Inflection Point: Where Global Shifts Fuel Business Reinvention.” Across the exhibition floor and conference sessions, the conversation moved between AI, sustainable growth, technology, investment, and the practical work of building in changing markets.

That mix made it a useful place for Vietnam Fieldwork. International businesses were not there only to admire new ideas. Many were asking what those ideas mean in a specific market, for specific customers, channels, partners, and teams.

Listen first, pitch second

Although our aim was to introduce our services, the best way to do that was to listen first. We wanted to hear where companies felt confident about Vietnam and where they were still relying on assumptions.

The pitch we carried was simple. Before a company commits to a launch, partnership, channel strategy, or investment thesis, local primary research can make the decision sharper. Good fieldwork puts real Vietnamese consumers, buyers, distributors, professionals, and operators into the conversation.

That is where we fit. We help international teams move from a broad market question to a practical research plan, then manage recruitment, interviews, surveys, retail work, quality control, and delivery on the ground.

Two founders, one bridge

The value we offer was easy to explain because it was visible in the two of us. Timothy brings an international client perspective, English-language communication, and a close understanding of the standards Western teams expect. Đức Nhật brings Vietnamese market access, cultural fluency, field coordination, and the local judgment that keeps a study realistic.

Together, we can take an English brief, pressure-test it against the reality of Vietnam, and keep one accountable line from the first feasibility question to the final evidence package.

  • Consumer and B2B interviews with locally informed recruitment
  • Qualitative and quantitative fieldwork across Vietnam
  • Retail audits, customer experience checks, and channel observation
  • Vietnamese localization with clear English-language delivery
  • Documented quality controls for teams managing the work from abroad

The companies we hope to meet next

We are especially interested in working with Western research agencies, consultancies, investors, technology companies, consumer brands, and B2B suppliers that need a clearer view of Vietnam. Some will need a complete fieldwork partner. Others may only need recruitment, local interviews, a retail check, or an independent quality layer.

If Vietnam is on your roadmap, the first conversation does not need to begin with a finished research brief. Tell us the decision you are trying to make, the audience you need to understand, and the assumptions that still feel uncertain. We can help shape a practical way to test them.

LET'S TALK VIETNAM

Vietnam is easier to enter when assumptions are tested locally. If your team needs a clear view of customers, channels, partners, or market conditions, we would be glad to start with a practical feasibility conversation.
